BiographyDas 1748 von Kurfürst Carl Theodor in Auftrag gegebene und von Johan Joseph Couven geplante Schloss wurde 1763 fertiggestellt. 1909 wurde es durch die Stadt Düsseldorf aus dem Besitz der Familie Hohenzollern erworben. Der Wiederaufbau nach dem Zweiten Weltktrieg wurde von Helmut Hentrich geleitet.
