A fun excerpt from the feature NEVER GIVE A SUCKER AN EVEN BREAK. This was released on 8mm and 16mm film by Castle Films. Long before Blu-Ray, DVD and VHS, people would buy 8mm and Super 8 movies in stores like KMart, Woolworths, etc. All the major chain stores would sell them. Castle released films on 8mm in 50', 200' and 400; reel sizes ¿ about 3 minutes, 8 minutes and 16-17 minutes on average. For many at the time this was the only way to see classic movies ¿ this was before endless channels of TV, videotape and theaters showing classic movies were limited at best.

This movie was typical of a 200' Castle Film, take an excerpt or section of a film that lasts 7 to 8 minutes, stick a title and ¿the end¿ on it and they were done. Films that required major editing to get a story line across were also released but films like ¿Hurry Hurry¿ were Catle Films bread and butter. This delightful little sequence lends itself well to an 8mm and 16mm release, and was one of the funniest scenes with W.C. Fields released on the home movie formats.
