BiographyDer Tenor Ovidiu Purcel studierte an der Musikakademie in Cluj-Napoca (Rumänien) und gewann zahlreiche Preise bei nationalen Wettbewerben.

Gastspiele führten ihn u.a. nach Cluj, Dortmund, Prag und Tel Aviv. 2011/12 war Ovidiu Purcel Mitglied des Opernstudios der Deutschen Oper am Rhein, seit 2012/13 gehört er fest zum Ensemble.
