Über die Arbeit
In Ömer Emre Yavuz's forms which we interpreted as 'the monstrosity of industry', a lot of research can be seen, though we dwelled on dominance of materials. It is possible to see this in his drawings, as well. As I write these lines, I think I can remember him saying at Istanbul Painting and Sculpture Museum in front of the artifacts of African tribes, 'Real art is this!'
