BeschreibungThe last important model by Gallé, designed shortly before he died. This bowl illustrates all the essential characteristics of his late work. There are two versions of this particular model. The more elaborate one is distinguished by a taller foot with a knop set with volutes and shells. The most elaborate model of this group, in the Musée de l'École de Nancy, boasts an additional waterlily decoration engraved in relief on the foot.
