Über die Arbeit
The themes of Härkki's paintings always revolve around people, blossoming and growth,
and decay and transience. She explores these themes in various dialogues, in dialogue
with herself and other people, nature, art and ultimately with the viewers of her
paintings. Using acrylic and oil on canvas, people, natural elements and abstract forms
are brought together in several layers to create complex and enigmatic depictions.
